The relocation of Agapé Christian School has been a road trip struggle for a few months, now. It has been serving Potchefstroom for 25 years and is appealing to the community for help.

By the grace of J.B. Marks council members and the mayor, Kgotso Khumalo, Agapé leased a stand in Dassierand after numerous difficulties forced it off its previous premises. The school needed bigger grounds to be able to provide a playground and sports facilities for the learners. They have started levelling the ground and fencing the new stand through a donation project but further levelling and development of the sports field and playground are still needed.

The school is in need of a tent or covered structure to be able to hold Monday morning sermons and praise and worship meetings. It, therefore, needs more financial support to fund the construction of buildings on the stand. Because the school does not hold the title deeds to the ground, the buildings have to be pre-fabricated. This will allow the school to relocate at short notice and expand as and when necessary.

The school envisions a class to help learners with special needs in time. Agapé Christian School is a registered non-profit organisation and receipts for donations are available. Anyone who is able to assist in any of the above-mentioned areas can contact the school office at 018 294 8621 or 084 313 4087.
