Bullyproofing orphaned children

As part of the Mosaic after school programme, a group of girls were recently taught how to deal with bullies and how to defend themselves.

As part of the Mosaic after school programme, a group of girls were recently taught how to deal with bullies and how to defend themselves.


Roevan de Beer, professional MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) athelete at the EFC (Extreme Fighting Championship), welcomed the group to his gym in Bailliepark for a few hours.


Along with fellow trainer at the gym, Charl Bouwman, the kids were taught basic self defence skills.
Mosaic SA, provides foster families of orphans with proper housing, jobs and skills training in a self sustaining way.

These resources put foster families in the position to take care of up to 5 orphans without financial support from Mosaic.
