The office of the North West provincial commissioner has released an identikit of a wanted suspect of rape in Ventersdorp.
According to Sergeant Kelebogile Moleko, the suspect is a 20-year-old African male. He is short, of medium build and has a light complexion. The suspect’s two front upper teeth are missing and he speaks Tswana.
“The suspect was armed with a knife and a beer bottle and he is wanted by the police about a case of rape which occurred on 11 June 2016, at about 12:00 near the soccer ground in Ventersdorp,” said Moleko.
