Dragons Women stroll past Limpopo

The North West Dragons Women made light work of Limpopo in their CSA division 2 One-Day and T20 matches at the J.B. Marks Oval last weekend (23–24 March).

The Dragons beat Limpopo by 8 wickets in their One-Day Cup match and proceeded to get another good win with 56-run victory in the T20 Cup match.

The stars for the Dragons was Deidre van Rensburg with the bat who scored 50 (78) in the One Day Cup and 47 (48) in the T20.

Allysa Erxleben also scored 45 (35 balls) that took the Dragons Women to 128/5 in their 20 overs.

The Limpopo Women were no match for the Dragons Women who restricted them to 72/8 in 20 overs.

Kayla Abbott (3/4) and Rode de Nysschen (2/3) were the pick of the bowlers.

The North West Dragons women are now heading to Oudtshoorn for the CSA National tournament for Division 2 teams.
