Ferdies ready to make Potch proud at Curro Podium National final
Ferdies are ready to go full blast this Saturday, 17 February, at the Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria when they go up against the top schools in the country.
Ferdinand Postma High School’s athletes are looking forward to stake their claim and make Potch proud at the Curro Podium National Finals athletics meeting on Saturday, 17 February at Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria.
The Curro Podium National final is one of the most prestigious athletics meetings in the country which will feature over 2200 young athletes from 75 schools.
In 2023, various North and South region events took place where schools showcased their talent in tough competitions.
Ferdies are the only ACNW (Athletics Central North West) school to feature at the Curro Podium Top 15 with their best athletes competing against schools like Helpmekaar College, Affies Boys and Girls, Paarl Boys High, Transvalia, HTS Middelburg, Menlopark, Paarl Gimnasium and so forth.
This grand finale is a celebration of the relentless pursuit of excellence in both individual and team sports and we cannot wait to witness sporting brilliance and hopefully, the breaking of a few athletic records,” says Cindy van der Merwe, Portfolio Manager at Curro Sport.
