N12 open again after accident involving truck carrying explosives

The N12 is open again for traffic after a truck carrying explosives was involved in an accident early this morning (Thursday, 8 February).

Traffic authorities were on scene as traffic was diverted onto the R54 (Vereeniging-road) when travelling to Johannesburg.

Traffic from Johannesburg was being diverted at the Klipdrift turnoff.

Authorities were awaiting a truck to load the explosives that had fallen off during accident.
