Yellowcard is an American Pop-Punk/Rock band from Jacksonville, Florida that has been making music for nearly two decades. They are well known for their positive lyrics, upbeat tempo, soulful ballads and unique violin melodies.

Ryan Key, lead singer and guitarist of the band, has the perfect voice, full of emotion for this song. This is a great song about the longing for love and the special qualities that a person has. Even though the singer has let down his lover, he is willing to do everything to get her back. A great song about never giving up on love.

The violin and acoustic guitar influenced song from their 2012 album Southern Air is a fantastic song about hope and never giving up on dreams. The impact of other people on our lives can never be underestimated. The song strikes me deep in the heart with its melody and repeating chorus of “My only hope you are my telescope.” It takes the third spot for its soul and enduring lyrics – something that Yellowcard gets right more often than not.
2. Way Away
Way Away is the first song I ever heard from Yellowcard when I put the album Ocean Avenue in my CD player. It was an instant hit on my ears and, from that moment on, I knew I needed more of this music. The violin is extremely catchy and sets the tone for the rest of the song. The bridge is also one of the most memorable parts of the song. A great song about finding yourself and experiencing the difficulties of being in isolation.

The intro riff that doubles into both speakers is instantly recognisable for all rock fans of this genre. Another fantastic sing-along song that pushed Yellowcard onto the mainstream rock charts.
