DVD of the week: The perfect guy

Movie review...

Finding the perfect guy seems like only a fairy tale to most women, but after 36-year-old Leah Vaughn (Sanaa Lathan) breaks up with her boyfriend Dave (Morris Chestnut) she gets involved with Carter Duncan (Michael Ealy), an IT expert who seems almost too good to be true.
Everything about him is perfect, and after just a few weeks he even told Leah that he loves her. He is the one… or so she thought until one evening when he snapped at a man talking to Leah. Carter lost his temper and nearly beat the stranger to death, whereafter Leah decided to put an end to the relationship.
What started as a romantic fairytale quickly escalated into an obsessively jealous ex-boyfriend stalking Leah at every corner.
He started showing up at her work, house and even restaurants that she went to.
When things started getting out of hand, Leah decided to file a restraining order against him, but not even the law could stop him.
Carter is persistent to get the love of his life back and makes it very clear that he’s not going to let anything get in his way.
Leah realizes that not even the police will be able to save her from the wrath of this bipolar and psychotic menace, so she decides to take things into her own hands.
The movie starts off slow and fools you by seeming like a romantic drama, but when it starts to escalate, you will sit on the edge of your chair biting your lip of suspense.
*The Perfect guy has an age restriction of PG13 for Violence, Sex and Language.*

I would rate this movie 3/5.
