Beware the dragons are coming

HENLEY-ON-KLIP. – Wide Horizon Hospice in partnership with The Golden City Dragon Boat Club, Rotary Henley on Klip and The Makery, will be hosting the second Dragon Boat Race in the Vaal on September 25.

The aim of the event is to raise funds to provide care to patients suffering with a life-limiting illness.The event will take place at the beautiful Makery in Henley-on-Klip and you can participate by booking a boat (18 paddlers and 1 drummer) for R3 500.

Everyone is welcome to participate or be a spectator or supporter on the day. Exhibitors are welcome to contact Wide Horizon Hospice to advertise and brand their companies at the venue. All sponsors will be recognised through various mediums including media coverage, Facebook, their website as well as the community radio station of the Vaal, 90.6 who will be broadcasting from the venue on the day.

Wide Horizon Hospice will be partnering with other organisations and all service and non-profit organisations will be given exhibition space at no charge to sell various products to enable them to raise funds.
