The local municipality reminds motorists that the Licensing and Testing Stations remain closed until further notice.
William Maphosa, Municipal spokesperson says that the municipality is still undertaking the necessary measures in order to disinfect the premises and equipment, and are still procuring enough protective gear for the employees.
“We want to ensure an environment of utmost care and protection for our clients before we open,” he stated.
The grace-period granted to all license discs that have expired during the lockdown period still remains.
The municipality will announce when the station is open to deliver services that are permitted under the Level 4 lockdown regulations.
