A boy was robbed by three other children outside of Promosa Primary school on Thursday, 18th July.
According to W.O. Mpho Manyoba, police spokesperson, the boy was in front of the school when, at about 12:30 in the afternoon, a boy who is known to the victim and two of his friends approached him.
“They asked him for his cell phone and he told them that he doesn’t have one,” Manyoba says.
The boys then left, came back a short while after and demanded that he should give his cell phone to them. The boy was standing with his back to the fence. Afraid that they might push him onto the fence, he surrendered the cell phone to the boys.
The police are investigating a case of common robbery. The Herald could not yet confirm the exact ages of the suspects but could confirm that they are minors.
