A fire emergency this morning (12 November) following an electrical appliance failure has caused the head revenue offices in Potchefstroom to close down for the day.
According to the JB Marks municipality’s facebook page the situation has been brought under control without any major damage but normal services at the revenue and creditors’ sections will will only be resumed tomorrow (November 13, 2018).
“These services at all our regional offices of Ikageng, Promosa and Ventersdorp will continue as normal. The municipality regrets the inconvenience caused as the situation was caused by circumstances beyond our control,” stated the post on their Facebook page.
