THS first team cricketers claim league title

THS Potchefstroom’s u.19 cricket warriors stamped their authority on the North West u.19 B Super League with a crushing 5-wicket win against Hoërskool Brits on Saturday, 20 October. THS’ first team had a fantastic season and capped it off with a superb bowling display to restrict Brits to 135 all out. Olebogeng Mosiane (4.31) and Phemelo Sepati (3/27) were the standout bowlers for Tegnies. Rynhard Moolman was the top scorer for Brits with 41. Sepati continued on his merry way with a sprightly (46 off 52) before Karabelo Matlawe (29 from 43) and Olebogeng Mosiane (20 from 28) sealed the win for the hosts. The coach, Lappies Labuschagne’s team enjoyed a fantastic cricket season and this victory was the icing on the cake for this talented group of players.
