North West Finals in Orkney. The top 12 players who were selected for the provincial team all shot scores of 80 or less – the best ever result in the history of this event. To top this, Rorisang Nkosi (Pecanwood College) shot a sizzling 65 to underline what a good player he is and prove that he is the best primary school golfer in North West. He has also just been awarded the prize as the best overall winner at SA Kids Golf for all ages and another for the best overall stroke averages.
The following 12 players were selected to play in the SA Primary School Interprovincial after their superb performances:

MC Malan (Koster).
The girls also played with a record-breaking 22 girls participating. The North West team consists of:
Anica Swart (Baillie Park), Bernelee Rousseau (Buhrmannsdrif), Cheslyn Jacobs (Dagbreek), Ané Janse van Rensburg (Brits), Grethe Bouwer (Delareyville) and Kaylin Coetzer (Saamtrek).
