Police intensify search for missing man

Authorities in Boitekong are urgently searching for, a 45-year-old man who went missing on 26 July 2024 in Mosonthwane village.

Authorities in Boitekong are urgently seeking public assistance in locating 45-year-old Fistos Segone.

Segone, who has been missing since Friday, 26 July 2024, was last seen in Mosonthwane village. He is also known by his nickname “Spider,”

Despite an extensive search conducted around Boitekong, there have been no positive leads regarding Segone’s whereabouts. Segone was last observed wearing a blue golf shirt and green shorts. He is described as having a dark complexion, brown eyes, and a black afro. Standing approximately 1.8 meters tall, Segone has a slender build.

The police are appealing to anyone with information that could help in locating Segone to come forward. Sergeant Peter Mosete is leading the investigation and can be reached at 078 926 3810. Additionally, tips can be provided anonymously via the South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or through the MySAPS App available on smartphones.

Community cooperation is crucial in this ongoing search, and any details, no matter how small, could prove vital in bringing Fistos Segone back home safely.
