Tlokwe Executive Mayor, Kgotso Khumalo wishes to express and send an apology to the Tlokwe community due to unavailability of prepaid electricity on all of our vendors this week.
According to Khumalo, this was not a problem from the side of the municipality but of a service provider due to their network breakdown.
“To date everything is under control and all vendors are opened and operating as normal,” he announced.
Khumalo expressed deep felt regret for the inconvenience caused to the community over the last few days and has instructed officials and service provider to attend to the problem and find a lasting solution as a matter of urgency.
“During the network break down, the municipality instructed our cashiers to operate extra hours to assist our people to buy electricity. As the executive mayor, I thank all the dedicated staff who sacrificed their family and quality time in the name of service delivery,” stated Khumalo.
