Potch plays host to prestigious tournament
KFA Martial Arts, the Kickboxing club here in Potchefstroom did a superb job in organizing this event.
North West Kickboxing Association was the host for the 2024 National Kickboxing Championship. This prestigious event was held at the NWU Potchefstroom campus from the 25th to 28th of April 2024.
KFA Martial Arts, the Kickboxing club here in Potchefstroom did a superb job in organizing this event. Comments like “It was the best SA’s in 23 years”, “Best organized Kickboxing event ever in South Africa” and “A World class event” from Fighters, Coaches, Officials and Spectators. All nine Provinces and 669 Fighters participated in this Championship. The fighters who won 1st and 2nd place at this National Championship will have the opportunity to participate in the Junior World Championships in Hungary in August 2024, (Under 18 years), African Continental Championship for Juniors and Seniors in December 2024 and the University fighters will have the opportunity to compete in the University World Cup, 2025 in Italy. This Championship was also a qualifying event for the World Games. The Kickboxing club in Potchefstroom, KFA Martial Arts, had 21 fighters competing in this championship as part of the North West Team. Remarkable results for KFA Martial Arts.
