On Saturday 23 April Round Table 47 Potchefstroom, together with Round Table 219 Klerksdorp, helped prep the cages at Paws (Potchefstroom Animal Welfare Society) for the winter.
They spent the whole of Saturday installing waterproof shade cloth on the sides of the cages at Paws and attached off-cuts to the front of each cage to keep out the cold during the winter.
With the help of Staalbeer, Knittex, Superior Shades Potchefstroom and Superior Shades North West, hundreds of dogs will have a warmer winter this year.
During the project, Paws also received donations of blankets, pillows made from off-cut fabric and dog food.
