Promosa youngster shines in NW basketball colours
Jarell Botes, who plays in the point guard position, started his basketball journey at Promosa Primary with teacher and coach Greg Williams and continues to do so at Promosa Secondary.
Jarell Botes, a promising young basketball player from Promosa, showed his affinity for hoops as he participated in the basketball section at the 2023 National School Sports Championship Summer Games from 8 to 13 December in Johannesburg.
Jarell competed in the under-15 boys section for Team North West against opponents of each province.
The inputs of Mrs Raessa Haffejee, Mr Ofentse Lerefolo and Mr Given Scorgie from Promosa Primary has also gone a long way in developing young talent at a local level.
