Promosa and Ikageng women take hands in month of love
Women from the two communities supported each other with kindness and motivation.
Women in Promosa and Ikageng came together to celebrate the month of love in a new way by empowering each other.
Promosa residents Jacqueline Bowers Bester and Shirley Bezuidenhout brought the women together by teaching them the importance of asking for help and leaning on each other for support.
The women discussed their personal journeys with each other during a motivational session and focused on helping, supporting, and caring for each other.
The women concluded the session through art work that focused on the usefulness of recycling materials. Art was then made with these recyclable materials.
The women thanked Shirley and Jacqueline for the time and effort that they put into the day, as well as bringing love into the communities by teaching women to lean on each other in times of need.
