Neville Davids takes 8 Ball Pool title

North West 8-Ball Pool Association’s second ranking tournament of the year took place on Saturday 5 March 2016.

Underdogs Pool Club hosted the tournament at Wild Thingz in Lichtenburg. It was a great day with lots of participants and everyone showcased their talents.  But, in the end, Neville Davids was crowned the victor.

Neville played against Jaque Celliers in the final and managed to win 3 frames to 2 in a tightly contested match. Neville plays for Pretzels Pool Club in Klerksdorp and Jaque for Outcasts in Stilfontein. Both men are in excellent form.

The first semi-final was contested by Neville and Thereza Enever from Outcasts Pool Club in Stilfontein, where Neville won 2 frames to 0. In the other semi-final, Jaque played against Mark Hechter from Rafters Pool Club in Lichtenburg and won 2 frames to 1.

Feathers Pool Club will host the next North West 8 – Ball Pool Association competition at Pretzels in Klerksdorp from 19 – 21 March 2016. These are the first open trials to be held.

The association invites any interested players to attend the event to find out more about 8-Ball Pool.
