Promosa’s talented young creative minds recently performed a superb self-written play showcasing the need for hope and redemption within the community.

Promosa’s talented young creative minds recently performed a superb self-written play showcasing the need for hope and redemption within the community.

This play, “Hope to the Hopeless”, was performed by the Promosa Community Youth Centre at Grace Tabernacle Church on Friday, 26 August. It was also staged in the community hall on Tuesday, 6 September and received high acclaim from the audience, which included the executive mayor, various MMCs and officials.

Rowaldinn Louw and Gaven Mahappy scripted “Hope to the Hopeless.” Louw also played the role of the main character, Ryan Rich, who faces a journey filled with drug addiction that ultimately leads to redemption.

The audience enjoyed the play.
