Women prepared to leave her marriage because of her husbands odd baby names

What is supposed to be an exciting new journey of expecting her first child has become a stressful one. 

The future mom took to reddit that she was upset with her husband for the “ridiculous” names he suggested for their unborn child and what makes matters worse is that he isn’t willing to compromise. 

The woman said that he was set on a name like Flash, Sixx, Baratheon, Ender or Trapper while she wanted something more traditional like Adam, Jack or James but her husband says the names sound ‘too old,’ he says. He wants something ‘fun and cute’. Okay, but by the time our kid is 45, I imagine he’s going to be tired of it.” she said.

The woman explained that she told her husband that he would have to back down on this disagreement but he’s standing firm.

The disagreement got so out of hand that the woman explained she and her partner are now either ignoring each other or screaming at each other. “We hadn’t actually had a serious talk about names until last month. Our relationship has taken a serious nosedive since then,” she shared. 

The mum-to-be confessed that she could be snobbish when it comes to baby names. “No matter how much people say it doesn’t matter, a name does affect people’s perception, especially first impressions.

“I want to give my baby a name he can carry into adulthood without shame.” The woman thought that her husband’s suggestions were just to entertain his nerdy moving fan side.
