HTS to host memorable FNB Classic Clash this Saturday

The 2016 FNB Classic Clash between HTS Potchefstroom and Potchefstroom Boys High has been one of the closest and fiercest local derby in Potchefstroom with almost nothing separating the teams each year.
This year will be no different on HTS Potch’s turf when the teams meet up for an epic first team rugby encounter this Saturday, 7 May at HTS.
HTS will look to make it a hat-trick of wins this year after beating Boys High narrowly the previous two years with 16-15 and 17-12 wins respectively. Boys High though will want to remedy that situation and take the victory and bragging rights back to 45 Beyers Naude Drive.
Interestingly, no side has ever won three Classic Clashes in a row since 2006. Boys High and HTS have both won twice in a row in two occasions but could not manage a three peat. HTS came closest in 2011 but had to settle for an entertaining and hard fought 13-13 draw.
Overall, HTS have won five times, PBH four times with the one draw in the past ten matches. Both sides are confident of coming out on top on Saturday and are willing to put it all on the line and play for their school badge.
