AmaZulu have confirmed that they have appointed former Bafana Bafana winger Delron Buckley as assistant coach at the club.

Buckley enjoyed a prestigious playing career in Europe before returning to South Africa in 2012 to play for Maritzburg United. He retired in 2014.

The 38 year-old will now assist Steve Barker as Usuthu attempt to get back into the Absa Premiership. The Durban side are currently eighth in the National First Division, trailing leaders Baroka FC by ten points, with 11 games left to play in the season.
