English Striker James Keene believes Bidvest Wits team-mates Phakamani Mahlambi, Buhle Mkwanazi, Thulani Hlatshwayo and Sibusiso Vilakazi have the talent that is required from a footballer to play in Europe.

Keene has played in Europe for a great part of his career representing a total of 13 teams in England and Sweden before moving to South Africa to join Wits.

Keene singled out Mahlambi’s prowess in front of goal as the youngster’s most valuable asset. He also praised the strength of defenders Buhle Mkwanazi and Thulani Hlatshwayo.

“We have got some good players here a lot of good young talent, our young striker (Phakamani Mahlambi)  is a great player who can finish the ball well. The way Vilakazi moves the ball and his speed is fantastic. And in defence it’s Tyson (Thulani Hlatshwayo) and Buhle (Mkwanazi)… they are big and strong,” said  Keene.
