“Our players have this habit of winning games before they play them. This is the reason why we always go to finals, but we don’t win them. Our players think that once they reach the final, then the cup is ours,” Miladinovic told Phakaaathi.
“People are already saying we’ll win this game because we beat Al-Ahly, but the truth is that this Al-Ahly team is not the same with the one we met in the final of the Champions League. This one is not that strong.
“Sahel scored five goals against Zamalek and this shows that they’re a very strong team. Granted, Zamalek did score three against them, but the game was already lost. But the fact is that we didn’t beat Zamalek in two matches against them.
“This is going to be a tough match for Pirates and what is going to make it more difficult is that we’re playing at home first. We need to win the first leg, because it’s going to be hard to beat them at home.”
Pirates will host Sahel in the first leg on Saturday, November 21, before playing them again in Tunisia on November 29.
