Kaizer Chiefs confirm Khune’s return

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the club has reached an agreement in principle with Itumeleng Khune and that the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper will return to the club.

“The club has reached an agreement in principle with goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and he will be joining us. Some internal procedures still need to take place though and then the deal will be 100% finalised,” read a statement issued by the club.

Meanwhile, Chiefs also revealed that talks between the club and former midfielder Mandla Masango are still ongoing and no agreement has been reached yet.

“We will update you on Masango’s talks with the club,” added the club’s statement.
