Following their dismal performances in the Afcon and Cosafa Cup competitions, Bafana Bafana have moved down 10 places to position 69 in the latest Fifa World rankings.

South Africa, who will face Gambia in the 2017 Afcon qualifiers on June 13, have also dropped to 18th in the Confederation of Africa Football (Caf) rankings.

Meanwhile, Germany kept their position at the top of the World rankings, while Belgium have moved up to second place, followed by Argentina, Colombia and Brazil.

Algeria are still top in Africa, however the Desert Warriors have moved out of the top 20 in the world and are now placed 21, but they remain the top ranked African team in world rankings.
