Gamildien, who is currently playing for Milano United in the National First Division, will join the Urban Warriors at the end of the season.
“Ruzaigh is a typical Ajax player who will complement the team. We expect him to regain his form which elevated him into the Bafana squad a few seasons ago,” Ajax CEO Ari Efstathiou told the club’s official website.
The 26-year-old midfielder started his professional football career at Milano before moving to Celtic in 2011, where he spent two-and-a-half seasons.
He joined AmaZulu last year, but his contract was terminated amid rumours of ill-discipline.
Gamildien then moved back to Cape Town and re-joined Milano in January on a deal that runs until the end of the season.
