Mongezi Bobe is pleased that National First Division side Black Leopards are going to face PSL side Kaizer Chiefs in the last 16 round of the Nedbank Cup.

Bobe says this game will hand his club’s youngsters a once in a lifetime opportunity to face against one of the country’s biggest clubs.

“It will be a huge motivation for them,” he said.

“I think it is something they need.

“Chiefs have done well this season and I think these boys will be out to impress against them.”

Leopards were pitted against Chiefs in today’s Nedbank Cup draw in Johannesburg.

Bobe, one of Lidoda Duvha’s legends, said his side are planning on doing well in this completion and a win against Amakhosi is what the team needs as they pursue their goals.

“We want to win a double,” Bobe said.

“Imagine if we beat Chiefs how confident our team will be going forward.

“We are looking at benefit from this game against Chiefs.”

Bobe’s Leopards are ninth on the National First Division standings and you would think his goal gaining promotion is a far-fetched idea but he believes it’s possible.

“It is still a long way to go and I think we will challenge for honours at the end of the season,” he said.
