Mamelodi Sundowns defender Thabo Nthethe believes his side needs to remain consistent for them to win the league title.

With the league drawing to a close, Sundowns are a few points away from clinching the league title with three games left to play in the league.

Sundowns face relegation threatened University of Pretoria at the Tuks Stadium tonight.

“We have to do what we have been doing until we have the trophy in our hands,” said Nthethe.

“The coach has emphasised the need for us to calm down. We have to do what we have been doing until we have the trophy in our hands – for now it’s not yet ours.

“We have to finish on a high. The guys are calm. It’s not the first time that we have been in this position, and the guys know how to focus.”
