Kaizer Chiefs striker David Zulu is said to be heading for the exit in the January transfer window.
Zulu underwent an operation in September to fix his ankle after tearing a ligament.
The Vryheid-born player, who made the switch from Chippa United to Chiefs in January, played two games for Steve Komphela’s side this season before picking up an injury.
A source at the club has informed Phakaaathi that there are negotiations that could see the player make his way out of the club without having made a big impact.
“It is not only the issue of an injury, but the club believes he won’t be of much use going forward,” said the source.
Zulu is said to be on his way back to Chippa United after the deal fell through in the previous transfer window.
