Arrows facing player revolt

Arrows facing player revolt

There could be a mass exodus of players from Golden Arrows at the end of the season if the club keeps Clinton Larsen as coach.

A source has told Phakaaathi that the players are unhappy with Larsen’s restrictive system and matters were made worse at the weekend when they lost to Baroka FC.

“If Arrows keep Larsen, they may lose some of their top players. They feel he has changed the team’s system. The players are used to expressing themselves and now they can’t do that. They were were fuming that Baroka turned them into robots as they danced their way to a 2-0 win. On any given day, the Arrows players can match the skill displayed by Baroka, but have been restricted,” said a source.
