The mentors will be joined by their respective team managers, Portia Makgalamele will be with Pauw whilst Levy Ramajoe will go with Da Gama.

The draw is scheduled to take place at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday, April 14.

They are expected to leave the country on Wednesday.

“This is quite unique and prestigious to have all our teams qualifying for the Rio Olympics. We might stumble here and there but there is no need to despair,” said Safa president Danny Jordaan.

“The future of our football looks very bright and our Vision 2022 is very much on track.

“Both Banyana Banyana and the U23 will go to Brazil to make a statement and will step up their preparations once the draw has been done on Thursday.”
