Local is rugged – and so is FAW!

FAW's JH6 28.500FT, a 6x4 AMT truck tractor, is one of its most popular vehicles on the South African market.

FAW Trucks SA has been operating in South Africa for 28 years and recently celebrated its 10 000th unit rolling off the assembly line. This is no mean feat as it was achieved in just eight years.

A R600m investment in a 30 000m2 facility supported the company’s rapid growth over the past years. “All the vehicles in our range are assembled to extremely high standards in order to withstand the harsh conditions of the African continent as they continue to deliver on the promise of a truck built in South Africa for Africa,” said Yongjun Li, CEO of FAW Trucks South Africa.

“Our JH6 28.500FT, a 6×4 AMT truck tractor, is extremely popular within the mining, and long-haul operations.”

FAW recently won Silver status at the NADA DSi awards.
