Your child will love making this fairy garden

Looking for something fun to do with the kids today? Watch and learn how to create your own container fairy garden.

Weekends are the perfect time to get busy with the kids making something fun together! In the following video, Carol Allen from Behnke Nurseries, shows how to create a miniature fairy garden in a container.

This DIY project could help add interest to a garden, decorate a patio, and delight children. If you don’t have much space, it’s also a lovely way to flex those green fingers and start a garden indoors or even on the smallest of balconies.

What you need

  • Lower terracotta planting pot
  • Potting soil
  • A plant that looks like a little tree
  • Ground cover plant
  • A small model house or other decorative elements of your choice
  • Decorative sand/gravel or pebbles

To see how it’s done, watch the video below…
