Allocation of sites well underway in Ngwathe

The Ngwathe Local Municipality has started with the Physical Allocation of Sites in towns where water and sewer reticulation projects are completed by the Department of Human Settlement and where there are no challenges for physical allocation. Allocation started at Mokwallo on 26 July, and will be done over the next 3 weeks, whereafter the team will move to other towns. The allocation of sites in one town, will run concurrently with preparing site’s for the next town’s allocation.

The Executive Mayor of Ngwathe local municipality, Cllr Mochela has sent a word of gratitude to residents and community leaders who continue to cooperate with the municipality to ensure the smooth implementation of this process.

For more information, benefiaries can visit the Office of the Regional Managers in all towns or contact the office of the Director Community Service, or call 0837907446 / 0568162700. COVID-19 regulations will be strictly adhered to during this process says the municipality. Residents are further requested to advise the municipality of any unauthorized allocation as the municipal officials are the only ones implementing the program, municipal spokesperson, Steve Naale said.
