Remember Covid-19 screening in town today

Screening for Covid-19 testing is currently done in Parys, Tumahole and Schonkenville.

Please make use of the opportunity today Friday 17 April between 11:00 and 15:00, for screening  at the Municipal town hall near Clicks, as well as at a mobile unit at Container Park in Breë Street. Screening implies that health practitionars will complete a questionairre to identify people  eligible for testing for Covid-19.

Only those eligible will then be tested by a doctor or professional nurse who will be at the screening sites for testing.

Door to door screening in Tumahole and Schonkenville already started on Tuesday this week. For Parys town screening started today, Thursday 16 April at the 7 old age homes as well as Epilepsy SA’s Free/State North West Centre.

Screening was also done earlier yesterday at Shoprite Parys.

Currently there are four official testing sites identified for Parys namely Parys Hospital , the Schonkenville Clinic, Thabang Clinic and the Vivian Mangwane Clinic and for Vredefort the Relebohile Clinic.

  • Remember that screening is done all over the country
