Street lights that burn brightly around the clock on Louis Trichardt Avenue and Rutherford Boulevard have been queried by a concerned SE2 residents.

Street lights all over the Vaal Triangle and South Africa burn around the clock or not at all.This is nothing new. People are expected to pay climbing electricity tariffs when local governments owe Eskom billions. ‘Everything runs on electricity’ – including the future of generations of children and young people. These people make extensive use of personal computers and cell phones. Even vehicle batteries need electricity.

None of these things are going to work and they are the future of the world – so what is going to happen?
