A Mammoth Ride giving orphaned elephants a fighting chance

All donations to raise funds and awareness for HERD Trust can be made via The Mammoth Ride page on Quicket.

Johannesburg born Kyle Malyon, is currently riding a 21 day Mammoth Ride raising awareness and funds for the HERD Trust and the work they do with elephants.

Kyle started his journey on the 17th of March and will be in Parys on the 6th of April before heading back home to Johannesburg. His trip will take him on the closest tar roads to the land and sea borders, including the two central provinces and covering all nine provinces.

He will be in Jeffreys Bay today, Tuesday 26 March.

HERD (Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development) TRUST was established in 2021 following a 24-year journey in caring for elephants that have been displaced or orphaned due to human-elephant conflict.
