Reward offered as search for missing 5-year-old continues

Sithole went missing on Friday 11 October 2024 in Tumahole.

In an effort to expedite the search for the missing 5-year-old girl, Keith Sithole, from Tumahole, Parys, the South African Police Service is offering a reward of up to R25 000 for any information leading to her safe return or if a crime was committed to the successful prosecution of the perpetrators.
The police urged the community to remain vigilant and report any information that may assist in the search. If you have seen her or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the Tumahole Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit D/Sergeant Noliyiswa Masondo on 082 049 5208 immediately.

Search efforts are being coordinated by the Tumahole Police, led by the station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Juanita van Rensburg, with the assistance of various stakeholders. In the morning, about 100 community members, Tumahole SAPS, the Tumahole Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, members from Parys SAPS, District Corporate Communication, Community Police Forum members, CWP members and ward councilors, gathered at about 08:00 at the local taxi rank to coordinate the search. The police are depolying maximum resources, including ground and aerial searches, to locate her as quickly as possible.
