Community joins hands with SAPS against crime

Burglary and theft are currently a big concern for the Parys SAPS.

Twenty-six community members joined hands with the local SAPS on Friday to ensure greater visibility with a joint patrol at the start of the festive season, when there is a drastic increase in crime annually. It is a community’s eyes and ears that strengthen the police’s hand in apprehending crime. Even if you only watch what is happening in your street, report suspicious vehicles or movements, or keep an eye on your neighbour’s house for anything suspicious, it would already make a huge difference.

Burglary and theft are currently a big concern for the Parys SAPS. Thank you to all who supported the community patrol initiative. Please join the next Parys CPF meeting at Parys SAPS lecture room at 16:00 on 7 December for a monthly report on crime stats in town.

You are also welcome to attend the annual CPF meeting at NG Suid at 18:00 on 23 November.
