Vredefort SAPS members would like to warn the community and motorists driving through Vredefort of the protest actions taking place in Vredefort.
About 500 community members have gathered and barricaded the roads in Mokwallo, and Vredefort protesting against service delivery.
According to police spokesperson sgt Josephine Rani, all schools in Vredefort are closed currently.
No incidents of damages or looting have been reported so far, she said.
Currently two males have been arrested for public violence, and Public Order Police is still monitoring the situation.
