Man found dead after alleged murder on his wife

A 55 year old man was found dead only a day after the alleged murder on his wife on Friday, 8 July 2022 at about 17:00.
According to Sgt Josephine Rani, spokesperson for the police in the Fezile Dabi district, tt is alleged that both the couple were working for the same employer as domestic worker and gardener in Sasolburg. The couple reported for duty on the Friday morning and were left in good terms by their employer.
Upon her return from work, the employer found the door unlocked and found the lifeless body of her domestic worker lying on the floor.
The police were summoned to the scene and a case of murder was opened for further investigation.
On Saturday, 9 July the sister of the suspect called the police in Tumahole to report a crime. Upon arrival the police were informed that the wanted suspect was found hanging from the tree outside his cousin’s house in Tumahole.
An inquest docket has been opened for further investigation. No foul play is suspected.
