Here’s what you need when doing these transactions at a traffic and licencing office

Learners application

1. Complete the A-B-D sections on the blue form
2. Bring a certified copy of your ID
3. 2 ID photos
4. R92
5. Proof of adress of the applicant
6. When you have passed your learners you will have to pay R48 for your learner’s licence

Drivers licence application

1. Complete A-B-D on the green form
2. Bring a certified copy of your ID
3. Your original ID document or ID card
4. Proof of adress of the applicant
5. 2 ID photos
6. R206
7. When you pass your drivers test you will have to pay R186 for your licence.
8. You will be given a temporary licence in the meanwhile

Renewal of Drivers licence application

1. You will need a certified copy of your ID
2. Your original ID document
3. Proof of adress of the applicant
4. R186 if you will not need a temporary licence.
5. R234 if you will need a temporary licence also. (The amount then includes your new licence card and the temporary licence).
6. Also remember to bring 2 ID photos
7. And to complete A-B-D on the green form

Application for PRDP/PDP

1. Certified copy of your ID
2. Original ID document
3. Proof of adress of the applicant
4. A Medical certificate
5. R75
6. Complete A-B-D on the yellow form.

Renewal of licence disc/car licence

Complete the light blue form – RLV form Complete B-C – only the owner must complete the form and sign it

1. Bring along a certified copy of your ID
2. The original ID document
3. Proof of adress of the applicant
4. Please not that the amount of the car licence/licence disc differs because of the weight of the car.

Deregistration of a motor vehicle Complete the light blue form – RLY orm Complete A & C – only the owner must complete the form NB: This must only be done where you are staying Bring along a certified ID copy of the owner Affidavit stating why you want to deregister Proof of adress of the applicant

What if your registration certificate/Natis document is lost?

1. Complete the pink form
2. Bring along a certified copy of the ID of the owner
3. Proof of adress of the applicant
4. R186 (only if Bloemfontein head office has authorized it and you will have to wait about a week or 2 before you get the registration certificate or Natis document

Important to remember is that a proof of adress must not be older than 3 months.
