SPCA Charity shop reaches out to Free State Care in Action

With many non-profit organisations fighting a never-ending battle to survive financially, the SPCA Charity Shop reached out to Free State Care in Action last week. The shop donated their excess clothing, shoes, books and children’s toys to help those in need.

The shop assistants, Claudia Marques and Elsie Maleke, did some spring cleaning in the shop and decided to show their appreciation towards the public of Parys for their loyal support. Free State Care in Action, in turn, supports those in need in the communities of Parys and Vredefort.

The gesture demonstrated how non-profit organisations can help each other, making sure no contribution received, is wasted.
