Licensing centre tackles backlog

 

Following the huge backlog resulting from Covid-19-related constraints, the municipality has decided to extend the operating hours of the DLTC in the Potchefstroom region.

Following the huge backlog resulting from Covid-19-related constraints, the municipality has decided to extend the operating hours of the DLTC in the Potchefstroom region. Services to be addressed in this regard include the renewal of driver’s licences, applications for learner and driver licences and professional driver permits (PDPs).

 

The operating hours have been reviewed, effective from 8 February and are now as indicated:

Mondays to Fridays
07:00–12:00 renewal of driver’s licences 08:00–08:30 applications for driver’s and learner’s licences.
Saturday and Sunday
09:00–13:00 issuing of professional driving permits (PDP) and rescanning.
