Anyone aged 35 years or older and who has registered on the National Department of Health’s electronic vaccine data system (EVDS) is welcome. If you have trouble registering, personnel will also be able to assist you on-site, pending the functionality of the EVDS.

The vaccination site in Potchefstroom is open from 8:00 to 16:00. It is located at the Dampad dining hall behind Veritas men’s residence. The public should use the Gerrit Dekker entrance.

Remember to bring your ID document and medical aid information, should you belong to any medical scheme. Once you have registered on the government website, you will receive an SMS. Please have this SMS available to show at the vaccination station.

The vaccination process over the past two weekends at the NWU Mahikeng and Potchefstroom campuses was a resounding success, with 5,980 vaccines being administered.
