When a community says no to crime and looting

Thank you to committed men and women in the SAPS

Members of the community of Viljoenskroon together with Sgt Pieterse and Sgt Mbona under the command of Sgt Pele of Viljoenskroon SAPS, did their town and the country proud when they stopped looters in their tracks today (Wednesday 14 July) in the early hours on an accident scene about 15km outside of Viljoenskroon.
The accident happened just after 05:00 when the truck from HFL Carriers overturned. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

While Prinsloo Recoveries, the SAPS and emergency services were still on the scene, looters came and tried to steal the animal food on the truck.
The police members with the help of the community immediately acted returning all the stolen cargo to the accident scene.
What an amazing example saying no to senseless crime and looting.
Thank you to every police member,  who do their best protecting communities in very challenging times.
Our sincere thanks also to Prinsloo Recoveries for sharing this positive story.
